Even Ants Are Feeling The Global Recession
I was just making coffee for myself and I saw a group of ants carrying some crumb away.I stood for a while wondering what it could be because I had not made anything sweet on that counter and looked closely and saw this.They were carrying away a piece of noodle.I have never seen this before. Pasta is so bland isn’t it and quite tasteless right?Usually it has to be something fairly sweet surely. So I guess with everyone tightening their belts there is no money for luxuries like sweets so the ants have had to tone down on their eating as well and are now taking whatever crumbs they can find.
And then I started thinking of Ant Bully the movie and wondered what they would be discussing right now.I bet there is a negative one in the group thinking it is all a conspiracy by the “humans” to decide not to eat anything sweet so they will not have the nice crumbs to take home.A lot like humans who are blaming everyone else but no one is thinking of the good few years the economy had previously.What goes up must come down so hopefully when the economy goes up again the people will know to save a bit for when the economy goes down again.
A bit off topic for kitchen gadgets but yes,the global recession is affecting my ability to buy kitchen gadgets so every post cannot be about that until I get some more money to buy a new kitchen gadget so I can tell you all about it.Besides I used up all my money with the spice manic phase I went through.
