Toaster 4 Slice-KitchenAid
When choosing which 4 slice toaster you should buy for your family these are the factors to be considered
-Pricing(under $50)
-Good Looks
-Removable Crumbs Tray makes for easy cleaning
-Easy Pack Away(cords and stuff)
-Defrost Option
-Larger slots for toasting not just bread slices but bagels, etc…
-Keep Warm Option(this is when the toast is done and the toaster does not eject immediately.Instead it keeps the toast warm until you are ready and then you eject. This is a really excellent option to have because most of the time you will find your toast is done before the rest of breakfast and then you either have cold toast or hot toast and cold food.
-option to toast only 2 slices at a time even with a 4 slice toaster(this means the toaster has 2 dials for each 2 slice section. Also an excellent feature because you either have to always toast 4 slices or run the risk of burning out your toaster each time you only toast 2 slices.
With the review below I am awarding 1 point for each of those features which means the best toaster would earn 8 points.
KitchenAid 4-slice Pro Line Toaster, Pearl Metallic
This 4 slice toaster is state of the art with all the features you could possibly want and some more to boot. This toaster gets 7 points and lost a point on the pricing which is just under $200.00.Important to remember though is that 4 slice toasters with these features usually price at over $300.00 or more so this is definitely a good deal if you have the money to spare.Other features not mentioned in my list of important features are an alarm tone when toast is complete, the toast raises vertically which prevents tearing, and 2 removable crumb trays, one for each pair of slots.
